The Holy Grail

One of Scientology's main goals from the start was to gain tax-exemption status; a major stepping-stone in building their financial empire, and a practical way to keep the authorities eyes out of their bookkeeping. Expose the scam - revoke their status! Doing so will cripple their organization and will lead to their downfall.

In Australia the CoS was granted Religious Organisation status in 1972 after 3 court cases attacking the authors of the Anderson Report. The Anderson report was the basis for the banning of the cult in Victoria and WA. Have a read of it, it is a scathing report on the cult like behaviour and the disregard for proper medical advice.

Lobbying Tips

Politicians consider a personally-written, "in your own words" message to have the value of up to 1000 form letters. Your letter will represent to them the voices of 1000 people who didn't write. A form letter is still better than nothing at all. Use your IRL name and address. Perfectly legal, and to do otherwise diminishes the impact. You should come across as a concerned citizen, not as Anonymous. Send this letter to all your representatives at State and Federal level. The more people that talk about this issue, the more that gets done.

Important British Note

"© 1996-2007 Church of Scientology Religious Education College Inc, a non-profit making association incorporated in South Australia. All Rights Reserved. For Trademark Information on Scientology Services." This is the text found at the bottom of all British CoS websites. It seems that the CoS is still not paying tax in the UK by routing all the funds through their South Australian "charity". Is this tax evasion in the UK?
