Possible Allies

Let's start looking for groups that we can contact that might be interested in joining in.

Contents

Quakers/The Religious Society of Friends

well known extremely liberal sect of Christianity. They have a reputation for activism, and would certainly be worth approaching. Unfortunately, the Australian Quaker Forum has died, and has been dead for some time. I don't know any Quakers personally, though might still have some email addresses from when I did an assignment on them in high school. Will see what I can scrounge from my inbox. Website

Anarchists

there are anarchist infoshops scattered around Australia, and Scientology is one of those groups that run counter to everything they stand for. I know that the Brisbane infoshop is somewhere in West End - Ryan Street, IIRC. Other capital cities have them too. Anarchy.org.au

Communists/Socialists

There are Communists with in the Group, The Socialist's and Communist's I have talked to support the actions of the protest but feel they may be more of a detriment to the cause anyway, as we are trying to get the public on our side rather than see us as another Communist plot.

While they may join in, it is best they do it as fellow Anon, than doing it as Communists/Socialists Publicly. There are a Few party's you can contact if you want to see if members can come along,

Communist Party Of Australia [1]

Socialist Party Of Australia [2]

Socialist Alliance [3]

Socialist Equality Party [4]

Uni students

A pretty broad group, but I'm sure we can plaster unis with flyers and stuff after it starts and before the next protest.

Hey guys we need all the allies we can get. I think we are missing a huge one, the free zone orgs.

Free Zones

If you don't know Free Zones are CoS'es that have shunned the Commerical orgs for one reason or another. If we can get a FreeZone org to team up at protests and even side with Anon it would help prove to both the media and the public that we are infact not anti-religious freedom. And also show up Co$fags, what can they say about a group that follows CoS teaching just doesn't buy into the commerical aspects?

Serious we should try to find FreeZone groups or atleast Free Zone members to join the fight! I don't have any near by my neck of the woods, gladly no Scifags either. But perhaps an Anon could find some

Human Rights Lawyers

See main article

Psychologists and Psychiatrists

Public enemy number 1 for the CoS. If we approach them and let them know that they have a voice through Anonymous, we might be able to get hard proof that what the CoS does to its members is inhumane. We already know this though, but written evidence goes along way when it comes to wielding the IRL Banhammer on the CoS.

Mainstream Religions

Most of the mainstream religions are not too fond of the scientologists, and those guys have A LOT of money and A LOT of followers, perhaps some religious anons (i am sure some must exist) could start working within their community to raise awareness and garner support.

There are Christian Cult busters who are aligned with some major church groups. We need to get them interested and supporting us.....then the churches will follow.

Pharmaceutical Companies

Eli Lilly (makers of Prozac) and Novartis (they own rights to Ritalin) are no friends of the scienos and their anti-drug propaganda. Australian offices are:

  • Eli Lilly Australia, 112 Wharf Road West Ryde NSW 2114
  • Novartis Pharmaceuticals Australia, 54 Waterloo Road North Ryde NSW 2113
