Time/Location
It looks as though my copypasta job on phobicmedia.com got taken to heart and some flyers have already been made. Based on this, I'm thinking we should fix the time as it is on the page (12pm - 5:30pm) although the pubraid looks like it'll be 4:30-5pm-ish Exanon 04:08, 14 May 2008 (EST)
Schedule/Route
Here is a stock/blank template for Melbourne, if you need it extended ask me, otherwise go nuts.
I think it is best to leave this until a final route is decided.

The route taken for O:FGO was pretty good, why not stick to that? Exanon 04:08, 14 May 2008 (EST)
Since this is pirate themed, maybe we need to get a group shot of Anonymous aboard Polly Woodside, that 19th Century boat they got down at Southbank?
And maybe get some western suburbs anons to come up via ferry from Williamstown to Flinders Street? Thebluemage 20:45, 15 May 2008
Here's an idea for the protest:
- We start off at flinders Street Station
- We then move to FedSquare and hang around for another 30 mins, this help ensure exposure and help any late anonymous know where we are
- We then move up Flinders St to the CoS building, for 20-30 mins we let the church know we are here to say hello.
- We then move down Russell St to Swanston St via Collins St - moving towards the State Library, once again to ensure maximum exposure and hand out for about another 30 mins.
- From there we move down La Trobe St to Elizabeth St and from Elizabeth St to Bourke Street Mall.
I liek the Polly Woodside idea, maybe instead of going to the State Library we change it to:
- We then move down Russell St to Bourke Street Mall via Bourke St
- From Bourke Street Mall we head to Flinders Street Station via Elizabeth St then hit St Kilda Rd (and get a photo of at the bridge)
- Then from St Kilda Rd we walk down Southbank (past Crown) and hit the Polly Woodside.
I'd still like to get a reasonable number of anon and music to The Big Freeze, which is happening at 1PM outside State library. We could easily slot that into the schedule, but it needs to be noted. YuriFury 00:36, 25 May 2008 (EST)
Alright, got an idea for alternate route, and bad news about Polly Woodside.
http://www.pollywoodside.com.au/ informs me that it's closed off. So, instead of a group shot on there, I'll write up a parody news article about it, referring to the Freewinds, and how we can afford to take a break.
Also, this route:
- 12:00 - Meet at Flinders Street Steps
- 12:30 - A group heads off towards Fed Square for fliering
- 13:30 - Move to Church for speeches
- 14:30 - Bourke Street Mall
- 15:30 - Southbank
- 16:30 - PUB!
Is this a good idea Y/N? Thebluemage 00:53, 25 May 2008
I think we should set Bluemage's route. Bluemage needs to contact police if possible...hearts is your point of contact for that Exanon 02:52, 4 June 2008 (EST)
I say we take my route for the next melbourne raid, that way we can skip the whole 'what are we doing this raid?' business. Thebluemage
