Clients

If you need an IRC client, we suggest:

Usage

Commands are entered much like a shell on a UNIX system

Code:

/server irc.eskimo.net

This will connect to the irc server, which should take about 3 seconds. You will see the MOTD (Message of the Day) scroll past among other information.

Code:

/join #ausraid

This will join a specific channel on the irc server, you can join as many channels as you like. See you there!

Registering Nickname

Code:

/msg nickserv register password email

Replace password with the password of your choice and email with the email you intend to use.

Code:

/msg nickserv identify password

Replace password with the password you used to register to identify yourself. This will have to be done each time you log in, to prove who you are.
If you do not log in after 60 days, your name can be registered by someone else.
