Members of scientology have been handing out flyers that appear to be from anonymous, but have anti-religion statements designed to decieve the public on our goals and motivation.
During a protest it is advised that you keep an eye out for such flyers being handed out. Some tips that can help identify infiltration are:
- Observe your fellow anonymous
- Engage anonymous members in conversation, such as:
- Where did you find out about anonymous?
- What bugs you the most about scientology?
- Ask to have a look at the flyers they are handing out; "Nice flyers, can I look at one?"
If you spot a person that is handing out dubious flyers, do not try and take the flyers from them or touch the person. Ask a member of the public that they handed their flyer to look at one. The best defence is get a few fellow anonymous members to counter flyer every member of the public the infiltrator hands a flyer to and explain to them that the original flyer is likely from a scientologist trying to undermine anonymous.
If possible, video tape them handing out the flyers.
Again DO NOT physically touch, harm, threaten or grab anything from a person that you suspect of being an infiltrator.
